Founder & CEO

I started C.R. Schmall Building & Remodeling LLC in 2011 after working nearly 20 years in the residential building industry. Over the years, I’ve learned that quality comes from two things: attention to detail and staying ahead of modern building technology. I take pride in keeping up with today’s evolving materials, codes, and construction methods so my clients get long-lasting, high-performing results.

I only work with highly skilled craftsmen who share my commitment to quality workmanship and professionalism. From the first conversation to the final walkthrough, my focus is on making the remodeling experience clear, organized, and enjoyable for every homeowner I work with.

From answering initial questions to coordinating next steps, Nicole makes sure your experience starts smoothly and stress-free.

Lead Carpenter

Joe brings over 40 years of hands-on experience to the team at C.R. Schmall Building & Remodeling. His depth of knowledge and steady leadership make him an invaluable part of every project we take on.

Fun fact: Before focusing on carpentry, Joe worked as a tile installer, adding even more expertise to his skill set. Leadership comes naturally to Joe, and he takes pride in mentoring other members of our crew, sharing time-tested techniques and “tricks of the trade” that only decades of experience can teach.

Ron R.

Lead Carpenter

Ron began his career with C.R. Schmall Building & Remodeling immediately after graduating from The Metropolitan Regional Career and Technical Center. Since joining the team, he has earned his Construction Supervisor’s License (CSL), becoming the youngest member of our team to successfully pass the required testing.

Ron has a true passion for craftsmanship, especially when it comes to interior trim work and custom cabinetry. His attention to detail and pride in his work are evident in every project he touches. Some of his most recent custom built-ins can be found showcased in our project gallery.
